Catalina Island: Part 3

The best part of our weekend getaway to Catalina was how relaxing it was. We didn't check our emails, voicemails, or texts during our time there. When we have a staycation, we can't help but run a few errands, finish chores, and stay connected to our phones. It was nice to be free and just enjoy long strolls along the beach, as cheesy as that sounds!

A statue of "Leroy," the Catalina Cat.

Local bakery

Island Radio Station
Lighthouse

Tiles of bison (a non-native but charismatic Catalina Island bison herd has existed for nearly a century).

Such cute homes! I love the color choices.

Another cute home.

    1. Haha, I don't think Catalina Island is based on a cat, but it would be cute if it was! Leroy (the cat they made a statue of) was a small town celebrity. He was loved by the people of Catalina Island and died at the age of 18 in 1989.
