Catalina Island: Part 2

While in Catalina, we stayed at Snug Harbor Inn. It's a cute & cozy bed and breakfast place (& very clean too -- a must for me!!). They have a total of six rooms to accommodate guests, and each of the rooms are decorated slightly different. We stayed in the Anacapa Room.

It was actually my first time staying in a bed and breakfast...and let me tell you I was blown away with the hospitality, cleanliness, and comfort! When we arrived to our room, they had fresh flowers and chilled champagne ready for us. How sweet!

We also sat by the fireplace :) It turns on and off with the switch of a button! Pretty neat.

Ah, and the best part! They bring you a full breakfast to your room, every morning! We had an assortment of food, from granola, fresh fruits, yogurt, warm blueberry bread, coffee, and orange juice! I told my husband, "I could get used to this..." To which he replied, "Keep dreaming!" Haha.

From 5pm to 6pm, they also hosted wine & hors d'oeuvres in the common lounge room. Nom!

To top it off, they also have a pretty good selection of blu-ray dvds available to be checked-out. We watched The Theory of Everything and Her during our stay. The Theory of Everything has a bittersweet storyline...maybe not the most fitting movie to watch on your anniversary weekend. Haha. We loved everything about Her. Such an interesting movie. Great casting choice and set design, too!

All in all we loved staying at Snug Harbor Inn. The staff was very attentive and accommodating, and our room was so comfortable. The other guests were respectful and were not disruptive either...Although there was a dive bar right across from our room, so it was VERY noisy until about 2 am on Saturday {yikes!}. Other than that, I'd give this place five stars :)

    1. It would be so nice if more hotels were able to provide a simple floral arrangement in the rooms!
